The TX600 is a lightweight and efficient rack-mountable FM Transmitter.
Designed for low-power FM Broadcasters, the TX600 has a graphical LCD controller on the front panel for easy control of power and monitoring of system variables including indicate frequency, forward and reverse power, power amplifier temperature, power amplifier voltage, PLL board voltage, modulation levels as well as the amount of gain reduction of the internal audio limiter module.
The Frequency is adjustable from 87.5 to 108 MHz via internal direct reading switches or from the front panel graphics display control system. Setting the frequency internally disables the menu system from changing the frequency ensuring no unauthorised frequency changes.
The transmitter is fully configurable and the limiter and stereo encoder can be switched in and out of circuit. Jumpers available on board for pre emphasis, clipping, processing mode clarity/loud, stereo/mono, and limiter on/off.
The Rear panel has a BNC connector for RF input and N-Type for RF output. The rear panel RS232 connection allows the transmitter to be controlled and monitored from a standard terminal program or our custom windows application.
The RS232 control and monitor system is a dual mode system which allows the TX600 to be controlled and monitored from a standard terminal program or our custom windows application.
The 'virtual VFO' dual loop PLL system allows perfect audio flatness to below 10 Hz. AFC bounce and modulator overshoot are a thing of the past. You now can pass that low bass without distortion and overshoots and obtain that extra low frequency stereo separation. The power amplifier is based on a modern MOSFET device and a fresh air tunnel through the transmitter keeps cool air running right through the heatsink keeping the transistor and the amplifier cool. The amplifier is protected from damage by temperature control systems and antenna fault (VSWR) monitoring which react to any fault by reducing the output power to a safe operating level keeping you on air rather than shutting down completely. Internal harmonic filtering keeps your RF signal clean and compliant to CE/FCC/EU standards.
Mains Voltage input is via an EMI filtered IEC power connector which feeds two fully approved efficient switched mode power supply modules with an input voltage range from 200-240 Volts AC.
Designed for the small scale broadcaster and at a small scale price.
