Radio Magwi launches in South Sudan and reaches 125km!

Xchange Perspectives, using equipment from Broadcast Warehouse have completed a project in South Sudan, bringing radio and training to Magwi.
Radio Magwi, a station set up to promote peace in the region and provide valuable information to the surrounding area, has gone on air and much to the surprise of the engineers, reached a huge 125km!
Using a BW Broadcast TX1000 and 2 Label AKG1N antennas on a 43m mast, the signal has reached much further than expected.
The project has also offered training to the local youth in media, production and radio journalism, giving the youth a voice. Through media, Xchange Perspectives contribute positively towards equal, just, sustainable and all-inclusive social change.
