Goran Tomas Joins BW Broadcast as Head of Audio Processing Development
04/03/2008
London, UK (March 03, 2008) - BW Broadcast has today announced that Goran Tomas has been appointed to the position of Head of audio processing development.
Goran will be taking over from Scott Incz, director of the company and the original designer of the DSPX range of audio processors for FM, AM and HD Radio/DAB/streaming. Scott will focus on business development of the BW group but will assist the audio processing department in an advisory capacity.
Prior to joining BW, Goran Tomas worked as an audio processing consultant and radio engineer in his native Croatia. Having also completed a masters degree in dynamics processing he felt the time was right to apply his experience of audio processing at a commercial level, getting hands on with design and development with a market leading company.
“Processing has been my passion for the last 12 years in radio broadcasting and I'm very excited for the opportunity to be directly involved in audio processor design”, said Goran. “BW processors have already proven themselves on the world-wide market and I look forward to working on further improvements and new product development!”
Scott commented: “We have known Goran for quite some time and it felt like the time was right to bring him on board. We are excited about expanding the audio processing team and know the customers will benefit immensely from his experience and passion for processing. 2008 will be the year that BW processors step up to the next level.”
