The perfect partner for your audio over IP codecs when wired networks or the Internet are not available, with built in antennas that can offer range of up to 5km

The NOC-8610 product has high transmit output power and high receivable sensitivity and is fully legal for use in OFCOM's BAND C licensed frequency band.

High output power and high sensitivity can extend range and coverage to reduce the roaming between APs to get more stability wireless connection. Available either with built-in 16dB 5.4-5.8GHz panel antenna for distances in excess of 5Km (bandwidth dependant) or as the EXT version so you can connect any high gain antenna you want for your environment; e.g. you might prefer to use an omni antenna for mult-point applications.

To protect your wireless connectivity the NOC-8610 can encrypt all wireless transmissions through 64/128-bit WEP data encryption and also supports WPA2/WPA/802.1x for powerful security authentication. The MAC addresses filter lets you select exactly which stations should have access to your network.

Conforms to IR2007 and is legal for use under OFCOM's band C licensed band; include DFS and ATPC functions.

What is the default IP address?

The default mode of operation for the units are as Wireless Adapters with a default IP address of 192.168.1.1. When the unit is switched to Access Point mode its default IP becomes 192.168.1.2.

If the units are bought as part of a Point 2 Point link package one unit will be configured as a Wireless Adapter, the other will be configured as an Access Point.

Do I need a licence?

All Engenius 5GHz units will be shipped configured for Band B operation (5470-5725 MHz) and are licence exempt. If you wish to use the units for UK Band C operation(5725-5850 MHz) you will require a licence from Ofcom (www.ofcom.org.uk/radiocomms/ifi/licensing/classes/rlans/5.8_fwa_index/). When ordering please request Band C in the "Special Order Instructions" at checkout. If you have already purchased a unit a wish to upgrade to Band C operation a replacement firmware can be obtained from the downloads tab of the product.

What is the default username and password?

Their is no default username or password, these should be left empty for login.

If the units have been purchased as part of a Broadcast Warehouse preconfigured Point 2 Point link then the units will have the following password and username.
