The MPEG-2 MULTIPLEXER is a user-friendly, high-quality, real-time MPEG-2 4-channels multiplexer offered by Elettronika for the extremely demanding digital television market. It offers great simplicity of operation and an unsurpassed accuracy of processing, which leads to a perfectly MPEG-2 compliant, jitter-free transport stream. It is a perfect and reliable solution for digital video broadcasting (DVB) in all satellite, terrestrial and cable applications.

The MPEG-2 MULTIPLEXER is in a single 1U case containing a high-speed digital processing board, which receives independent signals from four different transport stream sources and generates an output digital stream by means of a highly accurate analysis of each input and a complex multiplexing engine. Four ASI inputs are used to connect the MPEG-2 MULTIPLEXER to external encoders, and a dual ASI output is used to connect it to DVB- T/S/C modulators or to various types of network adapters with DVB-ASI input interface. The excellent synchronization accuracy and the automatic input bit-rate locking system let the MPEG-2 MULTIPLEXER achieve excellent performances with very simple operations.

The MPEG-2 MULTIPLEXER parameters are completely configurable by the user and can be saved in a preset that is automatically recalled at every re-start of the unit.
