The AVS equipment is very useful in any radio or TV station or studio to quickly and automatically replace a base-band Audio and/or Video signal with a secondary source when the Main source is missing.
For this purpose the AVS is equipped with two Audio Stereo and Video inputs that acts as Main and Secondary inputs. Furthermore the ATS can be optionally equipped with an internal Audio and Video pattern generator useful if both Main and Secondary inputs fails.
The base-band automatic switch-over can be programmed to occur when Video is missing or Audio is missing or both, or can be programmed manually to a fixed input. The missing time is user programmable.
The AVS has two independent Video and Audio (one for each channel) detectors. In this way the Main program can be automatically restored when the failure ends.
A display on front panel helps the user to program the AVS working modes and to read the Audio and Video input levels. Leds on front panel gives to the operator a quick view of the AVS working mode and status.
The AVS can be controlled by remote by a wired telemetry connector or by serial on front panel RS232 or rear panel Rs485.
