The amplifiers in 'TV Medium Power amplifiers' series are designed to be used as block for combined amplifiers of higher power or for directly powering antenna systems. Thanks to the excellent linearity of the amplifiers, achieved with the use of the state-of-the-art LDMOS (UHF) and MOSFET (VHF) technology, these equipment allow excellent performance both with analog and digital TV signals.
The temperature of the amplifiers is guaranteed by a forced air cooling system. Efficiency is enhanced by the use of switching-mode power supplies. In order to provide attenuation of out-of-band spurious the output filter is always included. A microprocessor monitors and controls the currents and voltages of the power supply together with the measure of RF output power and the temperature of the equipment.
A multifunction display makes it possible to verify all the operating parameters of the unit. The amplifiers in the series are remotable by wired telemetry connector or by serial communication, RS232 on front panel or RS485 on rear panel, (selectable).
