— Revolutionary new Aptus Range showcasing at NAB 2011 —
BW Broadcast has announced a new FM transmitter range and will showcase it at NAB 2011, booth C1311.
Building on from the platform of the Radio World ‘Cool stuff’ award winning RX1 and RBRX1, the new Aptus
range will be a fully equipped multi-purpose solution.
Just from looking at the capacitive touch front panel it is clear this is a new breed of transmitter.
With built in audio-over-IP decoding, RDS encoder and comprehensive metering/analysis functionality, the new
series will do more than any before it.
Incorporating the know-how from the BW Broadcast audio processing range, the unit also has advanced multiband
DSP audio processing as standard. In fact on top of the aforementioned functions every model in the new
range includes, onboard memory for local backup audio, Ethernet and serial remote control, silence detection
and source switching, built in stereo generator, SCA inputs, and all-new sophisticated alarms and notifications.
All that before we have even mentioned that it is in also a high performance FM transmitter!
David, part of the R&D team at BW Broadcast said ‘The Aptus range is unlike anything on the market at the
moment. We wanted to build a box that saves engineers time and money, is easy to use and highly efficient.
What we have achieved is even better than we were expecting.’
