The BM-A2-4SHD is a 2U high-quality audio monitor, capable of monitoring the audio content of HD/SD SDI bitsreams, AES/EBU or analogue audio sources. This product builds on Bel’s reputation for providing very high quality and reliable broadcast solutions, whilst also maintaining our user friendly and stylish interfaces that are well respected throughout the industry.
The BM-A2-4SHD provides two separate SDI BNC connections, one for SD SDI and the other for HD SDI sources. Selection of the source to be monitored, including selection from any of the SDI groups, is made from the front panel using rotary controls.
A TTL or serial alarm output is generated in the event of audio loss, over-level or anti-phase, with audible and visual indication. It is possible to mute the audible alarm.
The BM-A2-4SHD can be controlled remotely via Bel’s MonitorMX remote control software package. This provides facilities such as remote monitoring of multiple units, control over alarm states, naming of individual units and control over bargraph transition points.
The BM-A2-4SHD has already been the HD monitor of choice for various international broadcast events, including the Torino Winter Olympic Games and the 2006 FIFA World Cup™.
