BEL Digital Audio BM-A1 Series In-Rack Monitoring

BM-A1:  The  Bel  BM-A1  is  a  high  quality  space-efficient 1U audio monitor with alarm facilities.

Audio inputs are analogue (4) and AES (2 pairs). Levels are shown on 4 high-resolution, tricolour bargraph meters with user-adjustable colour transition points and a peak-hold facility. Six standard user-selectable scales and ballistics are also provided.

Analogue  input and output sensitivity  levels can be independently adjusted. The selected audio source is  available  as  a  line  output  and  to  a  front  panel headphone socket.

Three high quality magnetically screened speakers are  used  to  provide  high SPL  audio  reproduction. A  limiter  circuit  is  included  to  prevent  speaker damage.

These  monitors  also  provide  alarm  facilities  for audio over/under level and sustained anti-phase. An RS232 port provides  remote  control of all  switch and alarm functions.

BM-A1S: The Bel BM-A1S offers the same facilities  as the BM-A1, with the addition of an SD SDI input. Any  audio  group  within  the  SDI  bitsream may  be monitored.  A  composite  video  output,  recovered from the SDI stream, is also provided.

BM-A1SD: The Bel BM-A1SD has the same features as  the BM-A1S, with  the addition of analogue and AES  outputs  providing  the  demuxed  SDI  audio signals.
