The eMM88 is a 1U, 19”, rackmount unit with integral mains power supply. It enables the mixing of eight stereo analogue inputs to any or all of eight stereo analogue outputs.
Control is via LAN/WAN/Internet via a simple client/server protocol. Users can either develop their own software, use supplied Windows based GUI, or the embedded web server enables control from standard web browsers.
Inputs:
Eight stereo, electronically balanced, high impedance inputs, which can be individually selected to feed any or all of eight mixing busses.
Outputs:
Eight stereo, electronically balanced, low impedance outputs. each output has indeendent gain adjustments of +6dB/-14dB, which enables the unit to drive domestic equipment directly. The outputs will drive both balanced and unbalanced circuits without affecting the gain of other outputs.
Connectors:
All audio inputs and outputs via 37 way rear panel D-type connectors.
Remote Control:
The eMM88 has an embedded web server, which enables up to 4 clients to open socket connections. A simple protocol enables the status of the unit to be interrogated or crosspoints to be set/unset.
Applications:
In addition the web server can be accessed via standard web browsers, an embedded Java Applet provides a graphical indication of the status and control of the crosspoints.
A Windows based GUI is supplied along with the control protocol enabling users to develop their own applications.
The eMM88 is part of a family of LAN enabled products that enable audio systems to be developed that can be controlled without the need of hardware control panels..
They can be integrated into systems that have a central controller (e.g. Crestron, AMX) or in broadcast playout systems where they can be directly controlled from software.
Audio systems can now be controlled from you desktop at any location.
